Tales of Purans: Mythology or Reality

अहमेवासमेवाग्रे नान्यद् यत् सदसत् परम्। पश्चादहं यदेतच्च योऽवशिष्येत सोऽस्म्यहम्

From my childhood, I was surrounded by tales of purans, shared with me by my grandparents and teachers. At the time, they were merely stories, and many have faded from my memory. However, I have come to realize that these narratives are a vital part of our ancient history. While some refer to them as mythology, I see them as sacred accounts of our religious heritage, so old that they are often mistaken for mere fables. Now, I feel a deep urge to document these stories, as they resonate with many and are not readily available to everyone. By preserving them, I hope to reconnect others with the rich tapestry of our shared past and ensure that these important narratives are not lost to time.
